14-day refund guarantee
You can request a full or partial refund of the report price within 14 days of purchase if you have a valid reason from those listed below.
1 Refund request deadlines
A refund request for a vehicle history report must be submitted within 14 days of the purchase date. If a refund request is not received within this period, a refund is not possible.
Please note: using any vehicle history report when buying a vehicle is at your own risk. We are not responsible for the decisions you make based on our reports.

4 How to request a refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Fill in the form at the bottom of the page or write to info@vinstatus.store.
- Provide details: order email, VIN, payment date, refund reason.
- Attach evidence (optional): a screenshot of the error, a statement showing the double charge, a fragment of the problematic report.
- Wait for a reply — we'll review the request within 24 hours on business days.
After the refund is approved, the money will return to the same card used for payment.
5 Review and crediting times
- Request review: up to 24 hours on business days.
- Refund via Stripe: initiated immediately after approval.
- Crediting to the card: 3–5 business days for most banks, 5–10 days for some international cards.
The exact crediting time depends on your issuing bank. If the money hasn't arrived within 10 business days, contact us and attach a screenshot of your statement.
6 Cancelling the subscription
If you want to stop further subscription charges (but not get a refund for past periods), you can do this yourself in your account. An account is not created automatically after payment — you need to register first:
- Register on the Register page using the same email used to buy the report. A 6-digit confirmation code will be emailed to you.
- Log in to your account with the email and password you set at registration.
- Go to the Subscription section.
- Click "Cancel subscription" and type the word CANCEL to confirm.
After cancellation, access to reports remains until the end of the paid period. No further charges are made.
